Didn't anyone see him in "Twin Peaks"?
You're right sweet cee! I forgot he was in that!!!
Incredible, I just looked at Beymer's TV, and filmography, and the only things I've seen are WSS, and "The Longest Day".
I find "The Sound of Music" to be overlong and again, the intimate scenes are overwrought. I don't really care for the entire score of "Sound" -- it is weaker to me than "Flower Drum Song" which is currently enjoying a revival. Wise had a tendency to be cerebral but didn't have the artistic chutzpah to carry it off like, well, Kubrick. "The Andromeda Strain" is really a strain and "Hindenburg" was pretentious, over-written nonsense with ridiculous special effects.
Sweet Cee,
... I just noticed your post. BOY,...AM I BEHIND!? Anyway strangely enough, this may be the last post I do before I go underground, as it were , for a while.
...Anyhoo,.... What you pointed out, only proves MY point. "Romeo Must Die", is a remake, or new interpretation of ........"Romeo and Juliet"! ....You see what I'm saying?....Think about it............... I wouldn't steer you wrong....Ahiight?
Booman,
just like a man: take a swing and run...if you would re-read my post on the previous page, you will find that yours only proves
mine and not the other way around...Ahiight? Besides, we'll be talking while you're "underground" anyway, so I can't wait to have you admit this  ! You know I wouldn't steer you wrong
...
Chicago, Chicago is not my kind of town.
Chicago, Chicago at least my wallet was found...
You lose your wallet in a multiplex. AK?
A revival of the
Chicago stage play is now on Broadway starring cinema star Melanie Griffith as Roxie Hart.

That's been a continuous revival for several years and has had some recastings. It's at the Orange County Performing Arts this month but haven't checked out the cast. Obviously no headliners or they'd be advertising! Here husband, Antonio Banderas, I'm sure you know is in the revival of "Nine" across the street and it's getting good reviews mainly for his performance. 'Course I thought he was a great addition to the line of actors playing Zorro. He carried that film (well, Zeta-Jones and Anthony Hopkins had a hand in it, to be honest!)
LW, the musical that Antonio Banderas is currently starring in is "Nine."
Ooops! Four short and seven years ago. The musical is taken from the Fellini film "8-1/2" and I would never want to short Fellini.

I thank you 8 3/4 times for a usable link.
As for the film Chicago, . . . I was sorry to read that Queen Latifah has had breast reduction surgery.
I know such surgery is often needed by women for health reasons, but I will remember Miss Latifah as buxom as she was in Chicago.
You really are keeping abreast of things, wh.
Anyway, thanks for the mammarys.
