Would love to come back some day (just not in March -- especially not when you're having the coldest March in 130 years); we really enjoyed our visit.

For my friends in Chicago and elsewhere on E-Coli warning from USDA.

The meat products are made by Davis Creek Meats and Seafood and were made for Gordon Food Service stores, the USDA said Wednesday on its Web site.

The beef products were made between March 1 and April 30 and were shipped to distribution centers and retailers in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The items under recall include boxes of mechanically tenderized steaks and ground beef of different weights. The boxes are labeled "Est. 1947A".

Quite helpful, I think, for those who don't know the various lines bus stops and stations by heart like joe does:

I'll confess to being a little nervous about how I'm going to get to the meeting place. I just need to take some time with the maps and transit sites and figure it out. I managed to find my way around Hamburg, not speaking any German, fercryin' outloud . I can do this. I speak Chicagoese, sorta.

Park your car at the Cumberland Blue Line CTA station. That's located at 5800 N. Cumberland Ave, Chicago. You can use that address as the end destination on Mapquest or some other mapping program to chart exactly where you need to go. Also, you'll need to bring at least $2.00 in change for parking. I suggest a couple of these.

s'ok, gus.... those scary jugglers won't hurt you.

The water might if you fall in, but that depends on how drunk you are.

I love this town.

I am going to be at that pizza joint with the graffiti on the walls in about fifteen minutes if I don't get arrested before then, JB. I am turning off this godforsaken laptop, which I hate, and am beginning to stumble toward the north.

Pray that I make it.

Damn! I am drunk on my ass.
