Does anybody know of a word that has three consecutive double letters?
Example: Committee, but it doesn't work because an "i" seperates the three sets of double letters.
Bookkeeper.

Good one, thanks joe. Do you by any chance remember that ever so long thread about affirmative action?

Joe beat me to it. Bookkeeper, as far as I know, is the only word in the English language that has this three consecutive double letter condition. Of course, an assistant bookkeeper would have four sets of double letters: subbookkeeper.
