I can only hope it's been - but honestly it's hard to know one way or the other - mostly time will tell.

working from home today the leg is swollen pretty big - I feel fine but need to keep a watch on this and of course the leg in the air.

Husker...I am curious, does the swelling seem to occur in conjunction with certain foods? I am asking this mainly due to my experience with edema which seems to really take off if I eat rice. Of course I also am somewhat plagued by hot weather and a body which seems to retain water as if a drought were on the way and I need to be prepared.

Something tells me that somewhere in your past posts you have explained this in its entirety. At any rate, hope your swelling goes down and that you are back to 100% very soon.

Well I'm not sure it it was something I ate or if I was on my feet to much yesterday or because of the different compression hose(socks to knees) I wear ( I have about 4 or 5 pairs and one pair is not as tight as the others.

yeah also it just warmed up here to the low to mid 30's so it's a heat wave compared to the teens.
