Does anyone watch Spicks and Specks (Aussies)? On this show they have a question segment called Lady Mondegreen or something of the sort. In this segment, the presenter reads out a list of mispronounced song titles or excerpts from songs and the players must guess what song it is.

I was wondering if anyone had some funny or interesting "Mondegreens" of their own. My favourite comes from Simon and Garfunkle's "Scarborough Fair" where i always believed it said;

"Parsley's angels, Mary and Time" until my Dad informed me that it is actually;

"Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme."

Thanks, Boephe. Very Happy

Hi Boephe - where in Oz?

Check http://www.kissthisguy.com/

Mondegreens are done to death. But I have collected a few celebrity ones. Maybe if this thread kicks on I'll share them.
