For the last 2 nights Ive had trouble sleeping.

As soon as I feel myself drifting off, I wake myself up!!

Im like a zombie today.Think I had about 3 hours sleep, couldnt bare to look at the clock in the early hours.

Has this happened to anybody else?

it happens to me, but rarely 2 nights in a row.

the 2nd night i usually sleep like a rock.
when i do wake up i say a little prayer of thanks Smile

the worst thing you can do is lay there thinking about the fact that you can't sleep.

i read or get out of bed -- A2k has been my friend on many a sleepless night...

Material girl, I think sleepless nights happen to many of us. Often I have said, "goodnight" on this forum because I am very tired, then suddenly find myself totally awake. I think much of it has to do with events of the day; should this become a pattern for you, however, you might want to consult a professional.

My boss had a go at me yesterday morning(which cheeses me off) but that cant account ofr the night before.

Maybe I just think to much about silly things.

It was odd tho because as soon as I felt like i was drifting off my body would wake itself up, like a punishment.Soooo unfair!

My eyes ache.

This happens to me almost everynight... I will be basically asleep and all of a sudden I wake up with a gasp usually, like I scare myself out of the sleep... It is like a tease

If it keeps up I'd see a doctor or you can buy over the counter sleeping pills, like tylenol pm, but just don't make them a habit

Tylenol PM is very mild. Only take one and it should do just enough to keep you asleep.

Good MG, I am happy to hear that... I heard the less you think about how you can't sleep, the faster you will fall asleep!
