Cy Twombly or Changing One's Mind

EDWIN PARKER (CY) TWOMBLY.
They said the Cy was a family nickname.

I read that, something about Cy Young. In the meantime, I should get around to looking at more of his work.

There's at least one there I want to see more about, Grace Hartigan. My first gallery partner, back in the seventies, kept mentioning her as important, and since I didn't find her opinions held much weight for me on other issues, or, I suppose, mine to her, I never tried to find out more about Hartigan. I think she may have taught where my gallery partner got her mfa.

And review Frankenthaler, who've I've liked and not re different work. There's five or so I've not heard of. Have liked Marine Franck.

Cy Young was a pitcher. My favorite artist of the female persuwsaion is KAthe Kollwitz. She did some really haunting and spooky ****.

Farmerman, you're bad, I know who Cy Young was. Oh, maybe others don't.
Kollwitz, I still have a book of her drawings.

Glad I looked her up. I can see Hartigan's strong influence on my friend Ann's work.
