May one inquire how you ascertained his motivation?
I still like him. I would still be willing to give him another run if this were let's say his first term; or, if there were the possibility of a third term.
Has he made errors? A few times; but, I believe in the overall picture he has done a remarkable job especially when one considers the bitterness and rancor which exists from so many on the left and the excessive over-praise from so many on the right. He hasn't snapped anyones head off yet and he has had more than ample opportunity to do so and reason to as well.
