(1) Not just one but several people of note have commented that he seems quite affable in private.
(2) He makes me nostalgic for the good old days of Richard M Nixon.

Not sure about (1). I read that some of his younger aides are so terrified of having their heads torn off that they don't ever give him bad news...

George W Bush is probably the finest President ever to have been voted in by the peoples of the USA in a totally fair way.

His quick wit, combined with his indepth knowledge of world politics, has earned him respect around the world.

His uniting of the people and caring for the poor has gained him the love of his citizens.
