Sometimes I don't necessarily want a discussion, or even a response, I just want to vent. So here goes.
I've just read a reporf on the distasrous Liz Truss trying to hitch herself to the MAGA bandwaggon, and paycheck, with a podcast.
She is trying to spread the lie that government and the media are run by some secretive leftwing organisation thwarting the will of the people.
What a load of bollocks. The only media these arseholes promote is owned by the very rich, as if they give a **** about the will of the people.
The Deep State doesn't bother me, I find the idea of some secret organisation stopping Donald Trump from goingntotally apeshit quite comforting.
When it comes down to it, I'd sooner be governed by a state, deep or otherwise, than a corporation.

The mainstream media are overwhelmingly in favor of destroying the USA because every elected republican the media cries "Nationalist" (ie. Nazi )!!".
I don't buy any of it.
Politicians have had 1000s of years proving they do not want peace.

The utter lack of shame on the part of failed politicians trying to stay alive by grasping the coattails of the rotting, fading Trump is certainly rant-worthy. There are stirrings within the Republican Party and signs of cracks appearing in this formerly unified cult of personality. If the whole domestic con game begins to seriously rupture it will be interesting to see how well the international wing bears up with the loss of Ayatollah Trump as Czar Putin waits patiently in the wings.

She's desperately looking to blame someone else for her mistakes, and some shadowy, vague, group that only exists in the far right's imagination is a perfect scapegoat.
