My parents have necklaces that are matching halves of a heart. They were purchased in Turkey by a relative and given to them on their 50th anniversary. ther are two Latin phrases on them that I would like to have translated.
They are:
sempre uniti
divisi ma

It is not latin, but Italian.
Probably you should read:
"Sempre uniti ma divisi": Forever united but separated

Thats what I thought it meant. My Mom was a housewife and my dad drove truck over the road, so that sumed up their relationship to a tee. They were married 61 years and spent a lot of that time apart. But they shared a love that no one could seperate.
