I don't think there's much point in debating with this individual.

They are little more than a right wing propaganda machine.

It is a tactic of propagandists to claim they're a disinterested party only interested in facts.

All of their posts are extremely right wing, from denial of global warming, denial of the Palestinian's right to exist, rabid support for Israel and now echoing Trump's pathetic attempts to distance himself from Project 2025.

When one approaches debate in such a dishonest and deceptive manner, reasonable discussion is futile.

For all of dear old OmSigDavid's faults he was honest about who he was and where he was coming from.

You are correct, of course, Iz. But I just had to have my say on his post.

And agree about OmSigDavid! I think I saw that he has "gone to his reward." If so...I say RIP, David.

@neptuneblue,
The quotes and information provided by contributor "neptuneblue" are from 2018,
whereas
"Project 2025" dates from 2022.

Quote:
Quote:
'Project 2025 (also known as the 2025 Presidential Transition Project[3]) is a political initiative published by conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation in 2022. [...]'

"Project 2025" may contain some "old stuff", but "Project 2025" has not been approved by former President Trump.

(I'm finding it difficult to see this post on the thread, so it is possible it may, despite my efforts not to do so, be on here twice.)

@hightor,
May I remind contributor "hightor" that Donald Trump seems to be accused of supporting "Project 2025". I simply brought to the reader's attention, that he has denied any such support or approval of it.

@Robert111333,
No you didn't.

When given proof of Trump's connection to 2025 you claimed "guilt by association."

That is a lot different from merely pointing out Trump's duplicitous words.

Are you just being sarcastic or ironic here?

You are using the words of Trump to indicate what he truly thinks on something?

How did I show Donald Trump has denied any connection or support of Project 2025?:
In my post of Tue 1 Oct, 2024 10:26 am, I quoted Donald Trump as follows:
Quote:
July 5, 2024:
truthsocial.com,
Donald J Trump:

I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.

No such proof was provided.

Alleging rather that someone is guilty because their associates have supported something, is what is known as accusing someone based on "guilt by association."

@Robert111333,
May I remind you, you've been sussed.

Here's an idea, why not speak to this individual.

https://able2know.org/user/lash/<br />
Like you she supports Trump yet claims otherwise.

She also is (claims to be) vehemently opposed to Israel's existence.

You can tear strips off each other and leave the rest of us alone.

I made the same offer to Lash but she declined because her supportfor Palestine is feigned and is just another tactic to spoil the Democrat vote.

I suspect you too will run scared of talking to another Trump supporter, even though you both claim to be diametrically opposed on Israel/Palestine.

@Robert111333,
This is more doubling down, your refusal to acknowledge proof does not affect its veracity.

And your mealy mouthed words about guilt by association are just that.

Going by your logic Hitler had nothing to do with the Final Solution, his deputies made sure he was kept very much hands off.

Himmler did the dirty work, so as far as Hitler goes it's just guilt by association.

(Btw, the people who really make such ridiculous claims always say they are disinterested third parties only interested in the truth.)

Now I know you are just kidding.

Hey...ya had me for a while. I was buying that you were serious. But you used a semicolon reasonably, and if you can do that, you cannot be as stupid as you'd have to be if you were serious.

I would have posted in similar manner had a Democrat politician been as significantly misrepresented as has Donald Trump on Project 2025.

Since the current Democratic candidate for president has been "misrepresented" in ways far more extreme and often than than Trump has on Project 2025, perhaps this person can show where this has been done.

I understand contributor "Frank Apisa's" dissatisfaction with my previous reply.

Correction:
I would have posted a similar rebuttal had a Democrat politician been as significantly misrepresented as has Donald Trump.
