@Region Philbis,
I would love both of them. I'm more expecting Shapiro as a double female ticket would be too ((sigh)) radical to pull in undecided independents.

Some Jewish Democrats wonder if America is ready for a Jewish VP

@Region Philbis,
The irony of Republicans claiming to be proIsrael while having a sizable anti-Semitic base. I'm curious how they'll try to portray an opposing Jewish candidate. Not sure if they're capable of handling this with kid gloves. Or capable of handling anything with nuance for that matter.

@tsarstepan,
I'm thinking that Josh Shapiro is gonna be the winner.

Although I would love for it to be Pete Buttigieg or Gretchen Whitmer.

It’d be great if whoever is picked as the VP-nominee brought significant electoral votes of a swing state. I’d love to see as a nominee be highly qualified and inspirational leader. Senator Mark Kelly from AZ looks the part to me and AZ is an important swing state strategically.

1. It appears that electorally, Pennsylvania is the biggest prize among the battleground swing states.

2. It appears that Pennsylvania is electorally the most important battleground swing state.

@Real Music,
Thank you! Based on the electoral votes, it has to be Josh Shapiro from PA.

MSNBC’s Alex Witt spoke with Ameshia Cross, democratic strategist, and Brendan Buck, MSNBC political analyst, about who is most likely to be selected as Kamala Harris’s VP pick and how each contender could benefit the campaign.

@CalamityJane,
1. Right now, all of us are only speculating.

2. I am eager to find out who Kamala Harris will pick to be her running mate.

3. I think the VP pick will be announced sometime early in the week.

@Real Music,
I hope whoever she chooses, remembers he's Vice-President not Co-President. It's difficult for some men to be subordinate to women. Obviously, I want the new Vice-President to be a close advisor and involved in everything, but it's so important to remember the normal set-up. I think I'm nervous because she might be the next President, I just want everything to be ideal.

Sometimes I remember what it was like when I was 10 years old, women couldn't be doctors, women couldn't be in the Armed Service (ok, some but not many) the idea that a woman could be President was entirely off my radar.....just not possible. I've seen so many first things. It was gratifying to see Barack Obama become President (when I was 10, that wouldn't happen), it was a total soul suck to see that preening, self satisfied, lying sociopath Trump become "Our glorious leader" in 2020. But I have hope, I think our country will sober up and choose democracy as the future and we can get back to semi-normal country pride.

@glitterbag,
I believe that whoever Kamala Harris picks to be her running mate will accept their role as Vice President gracefully and respectfully.
