GOOD MORNING?
I woke up early one morning
The earth lay cool and still
When suddenly a tiny bird
Perched on my window sill.
He sang a song so lovely
So carefree and gay,
That slowly all my troubles
Began to slip away.
He sang of far off places
Of laughter and of fun,
It seems his very trilling,
Brought up the morning sun.
I stirred beneath the covers
Crept slowly out of bed
Then gently shut the window
And crushed his fu*king head
I am not a morning person.
not once have i wished to have a kalashnikov mounted in my window to greet the harbingers of the new day.
Oh, that's hilarious. Sick, but hilarious.
I regard our feathered friends as very very close friends, but I must admit at 5am they try my f****** patience.
God bless em though I wouldn't wish em harm. Perhaps we should take more substance to get in tune with nature
I heard a variation of that many years ago, which went like this:
Quote:As I awoke this morning
When all sweet things are born,
A robin perched upon my sill
To signal the coming dawn.
The bird was fragile, young and gay,
And sweetly did it sing,
The thoughts of happiness and joy
Into my heart did bring.
I smiled softly at the cheery song,
There as it paused, a moments lull,
I gently closed the window
and crushed its fu*king skull.
