Here's the loop on a topo map:
Littlek
I missed this thread. I'm happy to hear you had a great time. Now go take a hot bath.
I'd have to wash the tube and that isn't going to happen. I had a long shower.
any pics of you and the HC?
Oops, wash the TUB, not tube. Oy. And, no I'm still not going to wash it.
Dag - nope.
phew
i've been reading and re-reading the tube thing, trying to figure out what the tube was and where it was on your body

Oooooh! I know! I know!!!
kicky - I thought you'd sleeping one off.....I mean sleeping in.....
Yeah, you know, I thought I would be too. And by all accounts of last night's activities, I should be. But for some reason I'm kind of wired today. I'm going to the park to check out Manhattan girls' assets now.
Later!
Glad you had fun, littlek.
Kix is going Manhattan-hiking. I wonder what kinda supplies he carries.
a thermos of starbucks and a man purse.
Go ahead and giggle.
So, here's a question to ponder: would hiking at the onset of a cold tend make that cold shorter- or longer-lived?
I am miserable. I've had a sore throat since the night before the hike (thursday) and all day today my head has been spinning.
Well, I think that...
<claps hand over mouth>
You know what I think. But sometimes it's worth it.
Hope you feel better soon...
Oh. It was definitely worth it.
I didn't physically hurt myself, which was one of your concerns, right? At least there's that. Thanks, Soz.
Hiking isn't going to affect the length of a cold at all. It just makes the hills longer and steeper, since you weren't high enough for altitude sickness to be a problem. By the topo, that one was more than steep enough for me.
Littlek, do you have an online source for dredging up maps like that? Viewing, I mean, not buying.
I don't have a single source, Roger, I wish I did.
