Well Ray, that cuts out about 98% of them.

You are left with the Amish, Quakers, Sufi's and certain sects of Bhuddism.

So who are we left with then? Actually the UUs seem pretty harmless, if a bit confused.

Religious tolerance means to refrain from discriminating against others who follow a different religious path. Tolerance is more difficult to maintain when you know that your religion is right and their religion is wrong.

A religion is wrong when it teaches that somehow they are on the "right track", and the rest of the immediate world is nuts. Any religion that uses fear and bullying to separate people, are, in my opinion, WRONG!

And I am not even considering the veracity of the particular faith now!

What a stupid question. You won't get an answer, at least a real one because everyone thinks that either all religions are wrong or that theirs is the only right one.

I dunno. I don't believe in religion, but I do think that, for some people, religion gives them a framework by which they can order their lives. I don't think that needing a religion is the best way to run your life, but for some, it is a comfort.

I would say that as long as no one is hurt by your religion, (and that's a mighty tall order, considering the history of religion) it is not wrong. The faith may be, but a person's rationale for embracing one sometimes is not
.
