Maturity is needed to truly love. At the beginning, people are attracted by physical appearance, but long term love is formed through similar goals, respect for each other, and having survived through hardships together. True love is when after fifty years of marriage, you can look at your spouse and say, "I love you."

when you actually have to live with someone and stand by her even when you got no money to buy underwear, or when you go thru tuff times.. if you stand by that person for a long time.. a lot of years and you feel like she and your kids are the only thing worth living.. that my friend is love...

if you just made out .. thats just beign horny... you cant stop thinking of that person because you like the way her butt felt...or because she kissed you... my friend when you start getting boring .. you are going to get the boot.... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

lmao,, it reminds me , when i was a kid i fell in love even with the dog if he licked my hand...lmao

its nice.. those years when .. well you made out and where afraid to touch her breast...lol wait till you do a lot of making out.. and you knock out a chick Laughing Laughing then youll be singing a diferent tune... Laughing

It is nearly impossible to fall in love with someone before you really know them.

The fact that you think so many women are practically the same shows that you have not gotten to know any of them.

What you're feeling is not love. You should be focusing on school and extracurricular activities such as sports and music.

Doing so might help you actually grow up so you can understand what these other too-kind repies are talking about.

Cicerone and Roofing...ahhh. Those posts were so sweet.
I look forward to a time when I know love like that.

I feel like I have fallen in love (twice) ; but nothing as long-lasting and tested as that.

It definetly comes with maturity. Even four years ago, I didn't know how to love the way I know now. With every year that passes, I feel like I have more of myself to give a partner.

The toughest thing for me concerning learning about love is that: it's never about you. It's about what you can give and how clearly you can see the other person for who they really are. Sometimes, I felt like it was love, simply because the other person understood me so well.

Log; I wouldn't worry about it. You'll get your chance to find out for yourself what love is:)

LOL!! Laughing

Best thing I can say is... When you are in love... you don't have to ask if you are, or what love is. When you're in love, you'll know. Even if you've never experienced it before, it will hit you, and you won't have to ask any questions. As for you not having sex before, sex is not needed to be in love with someone, or to love... Sex just enhances the relationship, and the feelings already there...

And I think your feeling of "loving" millions of girls, is merely the natural genes programed into every male... Men love women... but there's a HUGE difference between lust, and love... Your feelings are probably most likely lust for those girls... Razz

Love is so many things.........

sometimes, when times are rough, it's just sticking together as a team.

It's like the two of you are caught in white water, rushing toward who knows what, but with a death grip on each other.

Sometimes both your heads are above water.

Sometimes one of you goes under. Under for so long if you were alone you'd drown.

That when the other gives you their breath, knowing that when the time comes, you'll do the same.

Sometimes, when you're both under, it's just holding on for that little bit longer, longer than you thought you ever could.

It's knowing whatever happens, even if you and your loved one don't agree, there is just no question of your coming apart. The bonding between you is too strong.

I think Tom Lehrer expresses it best...

Quote:

Sharks gotta swim, and bats gotta fly,
I gotta love one woman till I die.
To Ed or Dick or Bob,
She may be just a slob,
But to me, well,
She's my girl.
And I love her.

In winter, the bedroom is one large ice cube,
And she squeezes the toothpaste from the middle of the tube!
Her hairs in the sink
Have driven me to drink,
But she's my girl, she's my girl, she's my girl,
And I love her.

The girl that I lament for,
The girl my money's spent for,
The girl my back is bent for,
The girl I owe the rent for,
The girl I gave up Lent for
Is the girl that heaven meant for .....me.

So though for breakfast she makes coffee that tastes like cham...poo,
I come home for dinner and get peanut butter stew,
Or, if I'm in luck,
It's broiled hockey puck,
But, oh well, what the hell,
She's my girl,
And I love her.

You're in love when you know both the best and worst about a person and you are fine with the whole package.
