Since when do we create laws based on "what ifs" and "maybes".

My guess would be some time around the drafting of the Code of Hammurabi.

or the magna carta. or the u.s. constitution. or the amendments. or maybe the patriot act.

or, the ten commandments ?

I'm quite sure that all of these were crafted in response to something. In fact, I'm positive of it. And remember, "Thou shall not bear false witness."

The fact is, the Barrett .50 BMG is legal in every state except Commiefornia. The gun control crowd loves Arnie for this one, because as CA goes, so goes the nation.

Does anybody here know much about these guns? They are huge, heavy, and very expensive. They aren't exactly a terrorist's tool of choice. In fact, no terrorist act has ever been comitted using one.

before 9/11 terrorists had never used airliners as missles either.

and yeah, i know as much about those guns as i need to, to know that private citizens do not need to have one.

ya know, really, if you hate "commiefornia" so much, why don't ya friggin' bail and go someplace more suited to your need to splash that ballistics testoserone all over everybody. you have 49 choices...

pretty sure the state will survive without you.

Whoa, I think someone's blood pressure is kinda high.

Should we ban private ownership of aircraft as well?

Ever trim trees with a gun? Works great - no climbing whatsoever.

In fact, cj is coming out with a new book: "Gardening With Gunpowder". From the Regnery Press. Should be hitting the shelves any day now.

A coupla weeks ago, on MYTHBUSTERS, they took out a small vehicle with a single shot from some kind of very big rifle. HAd a bipod, large barrel, very high Muzzle velocity and there was a neat flash suppresor up front. I gotta get me one of these.
