I loved 'Shakespeare in Love', too, Booman!

Yes, Gwyneth did play in drag.....if you can call it that for the time period the movie was set in.

I guess you could call "Shakespeare in Love" a romantic comedy and in non-comedies, Linda Hunt was in male drag in "The Year of Living Dangerously."

Nice to see your familiar,...typing as well, Rae. I can't believe this place!! It's incredible. It's like the NYC of message boards. My compliments to you, Craven, Lightwizard and anyone else who had a hand in it. Membership here has it's privileges!

Welcome, Lash!

I'd like to take credit, but A2K is the brainchild of Craven and some of his associates with the management skills of Jespah, the other moderators and I can say that they had to good taste to ask me to be a Forum Guide for Film and Art. Embarrassed Laughing Drunk Mr. Green

How have you been?

Very Happy Lightwizard!Does the size of Craven's brain ever worry you? Is there anything this guy cannot do?
And you are so right! You are the Wiz when it comes to the Arts. Have learned much from you and I'm looking forward to learning more. Will see you soon in Film area. Need to praise the beautiful cinematography of LOTR.
Thanks for welcome!

Yes, yes to all ....

Some of my favs: The Pink Panther, The Birdcage, Analyze This

BUT

The funniest thing (I know, it's not a 'film') I have ever seen in my entire life is Robin Williams' new video/DVD "Live on Broadway 2002". It is non-stop, gut-splitting, hilarious, brilliant.

Today, in the world of comedy, there is Robin Williams, and there is everyone else.
