I understand men... and most men are not so desparate and sex-starved that they would get off at the thought of nude landscapers simply because they were young and female.

Everything has its place. There are times and places where nudity is sexy and appropriate, and I enjoy them like any man. This situation wasn't sexy at all. It was awkward and nothing else.

Kicky, lusting over the thought of young naked coed lawn workers may be your idea of "manhood"...

... but real men have real relationships. You might try it some time.

Don't be so sensitive, Alan. Smile

Of course you would say that. You're a woman. I think the world could use a few more loose women who go swimming naked in clients' swimming pools.

i too am siding with the client.
if the workers are willing to drop their clothes at my home when i am not there.. what else is going on?
No matter how much i trust a company to send out its employees to my property, i am always nervous about what may happen. How trust worthy are the employees.. will they do thejob.. will they hurt themselves.. blah blah blah.

Finding the employees naked, no matter how innocent the reason.. would only fuel that doubt and discomofort of having strangers present when I am not.

In this case, I agree with the customer - to a point. He should be angry. No one should use a owners facilities without first asking - it makes no difference about skinny dipping, being attractive or whatever. It is just common courtesy. Also, if something did happen and they got injured in the pool, the owner would be responsible - adults or young adults can have accidents in a pool too - my uncle slipped and fell in his pool and is now paralyzed.

Also, if they have the gall to use the pool without permission, what else might they do without asking? It is a trust thing to me more than anything else. I also agree that you should shower before using the pool. The owner, rightly, wants to keep his pool clean - gyms, YMCAs, etc. require you to shower before entering the pool.

However, I think it is a stretch to say he is not paying for services. Basically in this case, a sincere apology and promise to not let this happen in the future in sufficient.

Obviously I don't know your customer or his view on things.

However, I also find it reasonable to consider that he may have the view that young adults should show some respect for other people and their property. Your girls did neither.

What if he is of a religion that believes it a sin (as many Christians do) to view another naked that is not your spouse? Your girls would have caused him to "sin" when he had no expectation of doing so or way of preventing it since one doesn't expect to find naked people in ones pool.

Right, wrong, agree with their religion or not. Doesn't matter. Not professional.

I agree with the others who say the girls were not professional.

I know I would have been quite ticked off if it were to happen to me.

I completely agree that the girls acted inappropriately and they disobeyed one of our most important rules about never assuming you can use anything that belongs to a customer. The girls were told they were wrong to do what they did and they get it.

I think what surprised me was the level of hostility from the man. He didn't just say "get your naked chicks out of my pool", but rather used some nasty words to describe the girls that I thought went too far. I did apologize, the girls sent a note saying they were sorry and I told him he would not be billed. We have both since calmed down and have agreed I would still do the work for him, although I have decided only to send him boys and not particularly attractive ones either.

The only other odd note is I also work for some friends of the outragged customer and they told me in a joking manner how funny they thought the whole thing was. I did not tell them about the event, but either the man or his wife did. I have to wonder in what tone it was related to him, but I didn't have the nerve to ask. Maybe the man really wanted a freebie garden manicure and saw a way to get it (he has a repuation for being cheap) or maybe his wife thought the whole thing was silly and related it as such. I guess I will never know.
