OJOLLYO
Sag
Any suggestion will be most welcome, thanks
justaclue, Welcome to A2K, but I haven't a clue what you mean.
Hi, Perhaps dingbats are an english thing, basically you look at what is written and say what you see. Here are a couple of examples:-
Entury That is - long time no see - (A long time is a century and the letter C has been left off.
XQQQQI That is - excuse me - (the letter X obviously more than one Q and then the letter I stands for me)
Hope that explains them a bit, well us english are a bit eccentric!!
Where are you from? What country?
Hi, I assumed that the last line of my reply would have told you that!!!!!!!! English of course and proud of it.
Well, if you mean England, then dingbat probably means here what it means there. I little bit ditzy or crackers. Archie Bunker, in "All in the Family" ("Til Death Do us part" in England) used to call his wife a dingbat.
To a typesetter, a dingbat is a little symbol in a type font... like a leaf or a pointing finger.
Thanks for that extra info
