That whole Steele "dossier" issue (the DNC was fined over a hundred grand, and Clinton about nine grand) was rather hastily dismissed by the obviously biased media as being another "nothing burger" when it should have been the reason they locked her up for perjury, fraud, attempting to corrupt the democratic process, and other crimes the courts (if they weren't also corrupted) can name.

On the OP, find someone (anyone, really) who isn't a demented caricature of a politician, with zero connections to China, or the Ukraine (are there any?) and a running "mate" who can front the public without making a complete ass of herself. Her recent statement that she thinks the DNC should be in control of selecting representatives is what I'm saying here.

If I were a democrat voting fella, I'd focus on the recent changes in severe weather, the abortion crusade...but not as a fight against abortion, rather the federal government insisting on controlling our life...liberalism should be about freedom to make our own lives and be free of oppression to do so. Conservatives fear change, in the sense of family and values...democrats fail because they ignore this piece of the trade space. Also, democrats need to understand that the majority of the country is not as populated or capable of the changes they want to instill. Most of the states outside the population density centers are very sparsely populated by poor communities (tax wise). They don't have overpopulation or pollution from cars like the urban centers (democratic locals) do. They live in small towns without mass transit or even the need for it. My hometown is now a drug infested slum for the most part with good people trying to survive. People buy houses, rent for low and don't keep them up, there is no work aside from Walmart. Mom and Pops are gone. It's not that those red counties hate demorcratics or even liberalism, they just aren't affected in large part by the majority of the issues democrats are pushing. Social issues in a small town of largely one race, hetro beliefs, etc. don't need federal help solving those issues, they need help getting jobs and stopping crime...hence the red colors at voting time.

I wish urban centers would work with city and state governments to solve their problems and let the federal government solve problems that affect everyone the same. Stay out of our private lives and our bodies. Let us decide what is ok for our local area.
