It's very differe t over here, a Labour victory is pretty much guaranteed at the next election.
The problem is with Labour itself, moreover its leader Kier Starmer.
He has nothing to offer other than being an alternative.
When he ran for Labour leader he made a lot of promises that he has now rowed back on.
Sucesful, and memorable, Labour governments have been bold, Atlee created the NHS and the welfare state, Blair introduced minimum wage and made the Bank of England independent.
Starmer is timid, Tory lite with no ideas,just more of the same slightly dialed down and delivered more competently.
It will be a huge disappointment.
