Men's definitions:

A whore: a woman who does with everybody else what she does with you.

A slut: a woman who does with everybody else what she doesn't with you.

Your wife: a woman who does with you what she doesn't with anybody else.

A whore is a woman who does it for gain.

A slut is a woman who likes doing it.

A wife is an occasional combination who also does the housework.

To me, a slut is a person (man or woman) who has sex without showing respect for themself or the other person(s).

A whore is a person who has sex for money or other gain.

A wife is a monog. partner for life. Amongst other things.

...Sanctuary, since you are assuming I am one of 'those' people, I will not try to change your mind. Discourse can not occur between the two of us.

The man I am currently dating is a feminist. You don't have to be a woman to be a frickin' feminist. It is about human rights.

Personally, I have enjoyed having 'multiple partners' AND I believe I remained honourable throughout.
I treat my body/self with respect. I have the right to be with who I please.
I respect those I am with, I do not bullshiot them, and I do not expect anything but the same.
Frankly, if someone I was with called me a slut or said some of things that have been said in this forum, I would tell 'em to F*&^ Off and "don't let the door hit your azz on the way out!"
You can have emotional ties that are not monog.
You can express yourself sexually without being a slut.
You can be a sexy woman with strong opinions.

If ya don't like it - find yourself someone who's willing to bend over for ya. There's lots of bottoms kickin' around:)

Cool

There is no such thing as a "slut". It is a term high school kids use to make other girls feel bad about themselves. What we do sexually is our own business, no matter how much we do it or with whom. There is no "normal" amount of sex.

Sure. Why isn't it "normal"? Explain normal.

How do you know? Just because you have "complete emotional chaos and stress" with having sex with 5 different guys doesn't mean everyone does. That's "normal" for you. But you still didn't define "normal" for me.

I agree Bella.
The term 'slut' is almost always used as an insult. Just a way to jab someone.

I also agree that a person's sexual life is their business. The only exception is if I AM SLEEPING WITH SAID PERSON. But I guess even then, it is my responsibility to find out Embarrassed

Now we're talking about honour again?!

Umm, yes, it is a gangsters business as long as he isn't raping or otherwise violating people in the process.

Honourable tho - that's a different story. I don't know. I don't want to condemn all gangsters, since I don't know anything about it really

My definiton of honor is to stand for what you believe is right. To defend what is yours and hold true to your word. To be loyal and faithful to those who you love.

So in answer to your question, yes. They are men of honor, meaning they stick by their words, the defend their family, they stand by what they believe in. We may not agree morally with what they do but they refused to give up anyone, or flip. I found this passage on Omerta and what it basically means.

"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without police protection is both. It is cowardly to betray an offender to justice, even though his offenses be against yourself, as it is not to avenge an injury by violence. It is dastardly and contemptible in a wounded man to betray the name of his assailant, because if he recovers, he must naturally expect to take vengeance himself. A wounded man shall say to his assailant: If I live, I will kill you - If I die you are forgiven."

I think that this says it all. Honor is defending what you believe in at any cost. Just because you don't believe what they believe doesn't mean that they have no honor.

By the way, is it honorable for a man to kill an intruder in his home to protect his family?

I dont know about if its honorable to kill an intruder, but Id do it if felt he was a threat to me and my family.

When did we all start thinking that sleeping with lots of people at once is a wrong thing to do?(personally I havnt done this, probably never will.Im of the 'one at a time is enough for me' group).
We are part of nature. If a bear had sex with multiple partners would we judge it the same?
Arnt roosters and bulls singled out as prize stock to inseminate multiple chickens or cows?

Since when has sex been wrong for women, but ok for men?
Is it from the dawn of time? From the Bible?
Who invented this 'code'?And why?

i always thought that women were more emotoinal, thus less able to deal with the transitional stress from one guy to another, since they are more emotional, thus sleeping around like that would damage them emotinoally, especially their emotional purity, and it would even be the good thing to call them a slut in order to get them to reform .
