I was convicted of reckless endangerment for riding my sled thru downtown George Town Colorado. ( i was going really fast!)

I will agree with your positive statement that Dubya has forced us all to dust off our geography books. That's a point of which I had not thought. Perhaps he is the "education" president after all.

Does it strike anyone that the American public has been less and less
involved with the government over the last few decades?
Less informed or thoughtful, less active, just because of the sheer
overwhelming nature of the media and the issues we have to deal with?
