bottom line
If the war in Afghanistan were covered more, then the critics would have to find something else to complain about.
From my standpoint and experience, the mission in Afghanistan has not been diminished at all.

Unless you doves want us to use nuclear force, there is no war won overnight.

Still, I love the deference of "Clinton not doing enough" to stop bin Laden. Not enough? How about nothing at all? After the way he mismanaged Mogadishu, could you imagine if American forces were commited to getting bin Laden under the auspicious command of a man who "forgets" to sign bill authorizing military pay? Yep, we servicmembers once worked for free.
Compared to sitting on my ass and waiting, I am glad that America has a leader with the balls enough to stand up to any threat, including the subversives here.
