How do you say in Arabic the first line of Genesis, and how do you say the Our FATHER Prayer, Which JESUS taught?
Thank you
Petros
I would like to know how to say "yesterday the field was filled with flowers; today only a crisp layer of snow glistens in the sunlight" in Arabic please.
"yesterday the field was filled with flowers; today only a crisp layer of snow glistens in the sunlight"
In Arabic: "albarihata kana lhaqlu maliean bi lworudi lakinnaho lyawma toujado faqat tabaqatun mutamawijatun mina thalji talma'o tahta dawei shamsi"
i can tell u the terms to make it easy
albarihata: yesterday
alhaqlu: the field
lworud: the flowers
alyawma: today
thalj: snow
shams: sun
also u can notice the difference between alhaqlu and lhaqlo..ok.... "al" is the article in arabic we pronouce it sometimes and we don't other times.( I wrote the translation as we pronounce it)
Thank you kindly, safinaz. I will use my newly acquired arabic knowledge in another thread.
It will be most excellent.
