⚠ In short, the REAL reason DJT is suddenly sending troops into Portland, Oregon — in case it felt random. Literally -- follow the money. Let me explain…
Yesterday, (Sept. 27th), I shared DJT's post on Truth Social:
“At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect war-ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists. I am also authorizing Full Force, if necessary.”
Out of nowhere, he declared Portland “war ravaged” and ordered in troops.
Oregon officials — Gov. Tina Kotek, Mayor Keith Wilson — immediately said it was nonsense.
Portland was calm.
No one had asked for help.
Local leaders flatly told DJT the number of troops needed was 0.
So why Oregon? Why now?
Let's follow the money, beloved.
No. Literally.
Bc here’s the part that got buried in the noise these last few weeks.
How about Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon has been investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s financial network for over 3 years now.
On Sept. 9th, he introduced the 'Produce Epstein Treasury Records Act', a bill designed to compel Treas. Sec. Scott Bessent to release ALL of Epstein’s suspicious financial activity reports to the Senate.
This legislation is part of Wyden’s ongoing effort to trace the BILLIONS of dollars flowing through Epstein’s accounts and uncover the financial enablers of his crimes.
Wyden’s team has already seen glimpses — more than $1.5 BILLION in suspicious transactions, including:
✓ Over 4,7k wire transfers totaling approximately $1.1B processed through Epstein’s JPMorgan Chase account.
✓ Payments to women from Eastern European countries, the regions where many of Epstein’s alleged victims originated.
✓ Transfers through sanctioned Russian banks, used to process payments tied to sex trafficking.
✓ Involvement of other major financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, and Bank of America, which facilitated roughly $1.9B in Epstein-linked transactions.
✓ Investments tied to billionaire Peter Thiel, including $40M in Valar Ventures that has grown to roughly $170M — the largest asset of Epstein’s estate.
- And he’s also pressing JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon to explain WHY THE HELL the bank continued to do business with Epstein long AFTER his 2008 conviction.
Now... if y'all remember, just a few days after Wyden's bill (and 2 days before DJT made the post about sending troops to Portland (Sept. 25th)), I was sharing how the House Oversight Committee received a 3rd batch of documents from Epstein’s estate, including calendars, call logs, and cash ledgers.
These are NOT Treasury financial reports - BUT, they complement Wyden’s investigation by showing operational patterns, interactions, and the broader context of Epstein’s network, just in general.
In shorter words, and to make it plain: the timing of DJT's troop deployment comes just DAYS after Wyden escalated the Treasury financial investigation, and just 2 days AFTER the new Epstein documents were released to Congress.
Coincidence? I sure tf don't think so.
And that’s not just Oregon news.
That’s the kind of story that could expose powerful men, global banks, and YEARS of cover-ups.
Not that I need to say this... but I think by now we all know this is NOT about “law and order” in Portland. smh.
So, in these kinds of instances, it's best to look for what they don't want you to see.
It is, once again IMHO, a headline-grabbing distraction.
By sending troops, DJT shifts attention away --AGAIN-- from the financial and operational investigations that could expose powerful people and institutions connected to Epstein.
And there’s one more layer we can't ignore.
Sending troops into Portland isn’t just a distraction — it’s a message.
It’s DJT showing Oregon (and every other state that dares to dig too deep) that the federal government can come for you if you step out of line.
It’s about intimidating the home base of the senator who’s pulling on the financial threads of the Epstein network.
It’s about making the “Wyden-Epstein story” look like a local political scuffle instead of a global financial scandal.
It’s about rebranding a city known for protests and investigative journalism as “war-ravaged” — so anything coming out of it can be dismissed as chaos.
THIS is how you bury a money trail:
By flooding the news cycle with “troops” and “riots” and “law and order,” you turn the place where the investigation originates into a circus — and hope the public looks away from the billion-dollar question.
So no, DJT suddenly sending troops into Portland wasn’t random IMHO.
And the scope of the story is no longer just about Epstein, banks, or Congress:
– It’s about how power and media attention can be manipulated to bury inconvenient truths;
– It’s about drowning out the story that actually matters — the money trail;
– And it’s about sending a warning shot at the people and places digging for those answers.
As always, sources in comments.
Hope this helped.
~Ms. G, J.D. ⚖️

Do you see that fight for Palestine is the fight for the whole world? A world where no one is disposable, where no one is disappeared—not by ICE or the IDF, where the will of the people of the world matters more than the will of profit and empire. Do you see it?

Friends,
The Trump regime, along with Senate Republicans, say they’re only trying to fund the government with a “clean” Continuing Resolution (CR) that keeps everything as is.
Rubbish.
The CR bakes in all of the terrible policies that were in the regime’s big beautiful (Ugly!) bill, as well as its Rescission cuts of $7.9 billion from international assistance and $1.1 billon from public broadcasting.
To remind you: The big ugly bill is the most anti-environment legislation ever passed. It will have disastrous impacts for clean energy, electricity costs, and the health of our communities and environment.
The big ugly also provides tens of billions each year for additional ICE agents, arrests, and detentions.
And the big ugly gives the richest people in America a giant tax cut, financed largely by cuts in Medicaid and food stamps. It also makes some $500 billion in cuts in Medicare.
That big ugly was passed in the Senate using Reconciliation procedures that required only 51 senators. Senate Republicans bragged at the time that they didn’t need any Democratic votes. (JD Vance provided the tie-breaking vote.)
But now Republicans do need Democratic votes to fund or “continue” these big ugly policies and Rescissions.
Any Democratic senator who now votes in support of the CR is in effect voting in favor of those indefensible policies.
Today, in arguing against the CR, Democrats are focusing on one aspect of the big ugly bill — the cuts Republicans made in Medicaid and Obamacare. These are truly awful.
But Democrats also need to explain the broader aspects of the CR — how it harms a far wider range of Americans than do the cuts in healthcare.
My strong advice to Democrats today (and, assuming the government shuts down at midnight tonight): Tell the public what’s at stake. Tell Americans why the big ugly bill is horrific and should not be “continued.” And why the Rescission cuts shouldn’t be continued, either.
Hang in there. Don’t cave.

Current Situation with the Global Sumud FlotillaAs of October 1, 2025, Israel is not actively attacking the flotilla in the sense of a confirmed boarding, gunfire, or explosive strikes occurring right now. However, the situation is extremely tense, with Israeli military vessels and drones actively surrounding and intercepting the humanitarian convoy in international waters, approximately 150 nautical miles from Gaza. Activists aboard report preparations for an imminent assault, citing jammed communications, circling warships with lights off, and over 20 drones overhead—escalating a pattern of prior drone attacks on the same flotilla.Key Developments from the Last 24 HoursInterception Underway: Multiple reports confirm Israeli navy ships have departed Ashdod port and are closing in on the flotilla's flagship, Alma, and other vessels. French MEP Rima Hassan, aboard one boat, stated: "All boats are on high alert. We are preparing for an imminent attack from Israel, as several military vessels approach us." An unidentified warship was spotted nearby, and smaller boats are maneuvering aggressively.
Drone Activity: Drones have been swarming the flotilla since early October 1, with activists describing them as part of a harassment campaign. This follows confirmed drone strikes and explosions on the same group of boats on September 23–25 south of Greece, which injured several and damaged vessels—no casualties reported then, but it prompted Italy and Spain to deploy navy escorts (now withdrawn).
Israeli Stance: Israel's Foreign Ministry has reiterated it will "take necessary measures" to enforce the Gaza blockade, accusing the flotilla of ties to Hamas and offering to offload aid at Ashdod port (rejected by organizers). Prime Minister Netanyahu's government has labeled participants, including Greta Thunberg, as "Hamas supporters" via leaked documents criticized as fabricated propaganda.
Flotilla Details: The Global Sumud Flotilla comprises over 50 boats from 44 countries, carrying symbolic aid (food, medicine, water) for Gaza's famine crisis. It sailed from Spain on September 1, braving earlier attacks in Tunisian and Greek waters. Over 500 civilians, including Thunberg and MEPs, are aboard.
Historical Context of Israeli Actions Against FlotillasIsrael has intercepted or attacked every Gaza-bound flotilla since 2010, often in international waters, violating maritime law per UN reports. Notable incidents:Date
Incident
Outcome
May 31, 2010
Mavi Marmara raid
10 activists killed, 100+ injured; global outrage.
May 2, 2025
Drone strike on Conscience off Malta
4 injured, ship damaged/flooded.
June 9, 2025
Seizure of Madleen
Boarded with chemical spray; 12 detained/deported, including Thunberg.
July 7, 2025
Handala intercepted
Seized 50 nautical miles from Gaza.
Sept 23–25, 2025
Drone attacks on Global Sumud
Explosions near boats; escorts deployed by EU nations.
These actions stem from Israel's 18-year blockade of Gaza, intensified since October 7, 2023, blocking 56%+ of aid and causing famine risks for 1.1 million Palestinians.Broader ImplicationsThe flotilla's nonviolent challenge highlights Gaza's humanitarian catastrophe—over 65,000 killed since 2023, per health ministry data. International calls for de-escalation are growing, with European dockworkers threatening strikes if harm occurs. Live tracking is available via flotilla broadcasts, but feeds have been jammed. This standoff could erupt into violence at any moment; monitor reliable sources like Al Jazeera or AP for updates

Location and Progress: The lead vessels (e.g., Ohwayla and All In) are now about 115-120 nautical miles (roughly 213-222 km) from Gaza's shores, with an estimated arrival in 3-4 hours to early tomorrow morning. The full convoy is approximately 18.5 km from the "high-risk zone" (Palestinian territorial waters under blockade). Crews are on high alert, preparing for potential interception.

Key Developments Today:Israeli Interception Underway: As of early afternoon (local time), the Israeli Navy has begun intercepting the flotilla after issuing a final warning for it to change course. Military personnel have boarded several boats, prompting reports of a "high-risk" confrontation. Activists describe the operation as "intimidatory," including unlit vessels approaching at night and jamming communications on lead ships. No injuries have been reported so far, but the flotilla was less than 90 nautical miles from Gaza's shore earlier today.
International Reactions:Italy and Greece: Both nations have urged Israel to ensure the flotilla's safety but also called on activists to hand over aid to neutral parties (e.g., the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem) for delivery to Gaza. Italy has withdrawn its naval escort (the frigate Furor) upon entering the 150-nautical-mile zone, citing risks of confrontation. Italian PM Giorgia Meloni warned that the mission could undermine a U.S.-brokered peace plan.
Spain: Continues providing some escort support but faces similar pressures.
UN and Vatican: UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese criticized Italy's pullback as enabling "further violations." Pope Leo XIV expressed hopes for non-violent resolution during a press interaction.
Protests: Italian unions have called a general strike in solidarity, with demonstrations erupting in multiple cities after interception news.
Israeli Position and Allegations:Israel's government has vowed to prevent the flotilla from reaching Gaza, labeling it a provocation rather than a genuine aid effort. The Foreign Ministry released documents today claiming Hamas ties, including funding links to the Palestinian Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA, designated a terrorist group by Israel) and ownership of ships via a Spanish front company (Cyber Neptune). Flotilla organizers deny these claims, calling them propaganda, and emphasize the mission's humanitarian focus. Background and Context:This follows smaller failed attempts in June and July 2025. The blockade, in place since 2007, stems from Israel's conflict with Hamas, intensified after the October 7, 2023, attack (1,200 Israelis killed, 251 hostages taken). Aid groups argue the naval restrictions exacerbate Gaza's humanitarian crisis, with UN experts affirming the flotilla's legal right to passage. The situation remains fluid; live streams from activists show ongoing tension. For real-time updates, monitor official flotilla channels or major news outlets.

Greta Thunberg’s aid flotilla was intercepted by Israeli military and its crew detained as it made its final approach to Gaza, Israeli officials have confirmed.
Three vessels in the Global Sumud Flotilla were cut off by a naval blockade around 70 nautical miles, or 130km, from the besieged strip at around 8:30pm Gaza time on Wednesday evening, according to activists on board.

Interception (October 1): Around midday, at least 20 Israeli military vessels boarded multiple boats, including the lead ship Aurora. No violence was reported initially, but activists described it as an "act of aggression." Thunberg was filmed seated on deck surrounded by soldiers. The Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed the operation, stating detainees would be taken to Ashdod port for processing and deportation. Aid cargo is being inspected and redirected via approved channels.
Current Status (October 2): Most vessels seized: The Spectre boat was intercepted, with 21 people from 9 nationalities (including Colombians) detained. Passengers are being transferred to Ashdod; all are reported unharmed by Israeli officials, though organizers dispute this, citing distress.
Partial evasion: One vessel, Wahoo, maneuvered past forces and is now leading with 49 nautical miles to Gaza, carrying a smaller crew. Live updates from activists indicate ongoing drone surveillance and tension.
Detainee count: Over 400 activists affected, including Thunberg, European MPs like Rima Hassan (who called it a "flagrant violation"), and others from New Zealand, Colombia, and beyond. Consular access is being negotiated.

IDF storms additional boats like Florida, Deir Yassine, Huga, Adara, Grande Blu, and Yulara. First action on Florida vessel: soldiers detach cameras. Passengers report being "abducted" in international waters; passports held as proof. No confirmed injuries, but one Australian activist (Dr. Bianca Webb-Pullman) messaged family: "Even if I die, don’t worry, it was still 100% worth it" before discarding her phone.
October 2, 2025 (Latest, ~04:00 UTC)
Ongoing Mission
28–32 boats remain free and sailing, ~46 nautical miles (85 km) from Gaza—estimated 4.5–12 hours away. Flotilla organizers report "incessant aggressions" but persistence. Alternate tracker: Flotilla Map or Global Sumud Tracker. Communications jammed; updates via Telegram.

Seized Vessels: At least 15–20 boats have been intercepted and are en route to Israeli ports. Detainees are undergoing health checks and interviews; some have posted videos on Telegram claiming abduction against their will and reiterating the mission's humanitarian intent.
Remaining Fleet: Approximately 30 vessels are still at sea, continuing toward Gaza. Notable updates:Marinette-SAFAD: Believed to be the last active boat sailing uninterrupted; an urgent video update was shared early today, calling for global solidarity.
Mikeno: AIS tracking shows it stationary in Gaza waters with an unusual route. Local spotters can't visually confirm it, and contact with the six activists aboard (from Brazil, Türkiye, Netherlands, Norway, US, Spain) is unconfirmed. Organizers hope all are safe but suspect possible interception.
Aid Impact: The flotilla carried symbolic and practical aid, but none has reached Gaza due to the interceptions. Organizers report increased drone activity near the remaining boats.

Background on Trey Reed's Death
De'Martravion "Trey" Reed, a 21-year-old Black student at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, was found dead on September 15, 2025, hanging from a tree on campus near the pickleball courts. He was discovered around 7 a.m. by a faculty member during the university's centennial celebrations, which were subsequently canceled. Reed, from Grenada, Mississippi, was described by his family as a "quiet light" full of promise, and his mother noted he had spoken to her the Friday before, sounding excited about college life.Initial reports from the Grenada County Sheriff's Department and Bolivar County coroner indicated no signs of foul play or assault. However, conflicting accounts emerged: Reed's family was initially told he was found unconscious in his dorm room, not on campus, raising immediate suspicions. The discovery—amid Mississippi's history of racial violence and lynchings—sparked widespread outrage, with social media users and advocates like the NAACP questioning the narrative, stating, "Our people have not historically hung ourselves from trees."Official Autopsy and RulingOn September 17, 2025, the Mississippi State Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy, ruling Reed's cause of death as hanging and the manner as suicide. The findings aligned with the coroner's preliminary exam, showing no visible injuries consistent with assault. Toxicology results were pending for 2-4 weeks at the time. Cleveland Police Chief Travis Tribble and Mississippi Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell emphasized the "quick work" of investigators and urged against "rumors" or "misinformation" on social media, which they said could hinder the process and add trauma to families. Governor Tate Reeves called it a "tragedy" and condemned speculation without evidence.A second man, Cory Zukatis (36), was found hanging from a tree in Mississippi on the same day, but officials have not linked the cases and maintain both are suicides.Push for Independent InvestigationReed's family, represented by civil rights attorney Ben Crump and Vanessa J. Jones, expressed deep skepticism due to the inconsistencies and historical context. On September 19, Crump announced that Colin Kaepernick's "Know Your Rights Camp Autopsy Initiative"—which funds independent autopsies in suspicious deaths—would cover the costs of a second exam. The private autopsy was completed by Dr. Matthias I. Okoye (a Nebraska-based pathologist) before Reed's funeral on September 27, 2025. Crump demanded release of all campus surveillance footage to "uncover the truth," stating, "We cannot accept vague conclusions when so many questions remain."The family's concerns echo broader calls from the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus, U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), and civil rights groups for a federal FBI probe, citing the state's "painful history of lynching." Thompson noted, "We cannot ignore Mississippi’s painful history of racial violence against African Americans."Latest Developments: Second Autopsy FindingsAs of October 2-3, 2025, reports from Reed's family meeting with Ben Crump indicate the independent autopsy revealed blunt force trauma to the back of Trey Reed's head, along with bruises on his back, buttocks, jawbone, and a leg injury. Some accounts also mention missing organs, though this remains unconfirmed in official releases. These findings were not noted in the state's autopsy, fueling demands for accountability and a reopened investigation. The full private report has not been publicly released, but Crump's team is pushing for transparency. Social media under #JusticeForTreyReed has amplified these details, with users questioning, "Who unalived Trey Reed?" and rejecting the suicide ruling outright.

Current Status
Interceptions Complete: As of this morning (October 3), the Israeli military has seized all remaining GSF vessels, including the Marinette. One vessel, Shireen Abu Akleh, remains in international waters carrying legal scholars advocating for detained activists but was not intended to reach Gaza.
Detentions and Deportations: Over 470 individuals from 42 countries are detained in Israel. Legal access granted via Adalah center; four Italian activists already deported. Israel states all are "safe and in good health." Amnesty International called the action a "calculated act of intimidation" to silence critics of the blockade.
Aid Outcome: Most supplies (food, medical aid) were offloaded or seized. The Mikeno's potential delivery remains the only reported success, though unverified. Organizers report symbolic aid reached Palestinians via alternative routes.
