Imagine that the two things the power centers of both dying parties strongly believe in is continuing a genocide and covering up a child trafficking ring.

The Democratic party has a 19% approval rating in the recent Quinnipiac poll. This is what happens to a party that betrays its own base over and over again and stands for absolutely nothing except colluding with Republicans to serve the donor class.
I've been reading that the situation in Gaza has reached a critical mass, that shortly they will begin to expire by the tens of thousands, from lack of food, water, medicine, etc.

So what's the plan here? We just sit and watch Israel starve Gaza to death with the support of our own governments?
And then what? We just go along with our lives, knowing that that happened? That this is what we are as a society? That our civilization is comfortable allowing something like that to happen? And that our rulers could do the same thing to another inconvenient population at any time?
We're just meant to be cool with that? And go on living like it's normal?
I'm genuinely curious. How exactly is everyone planning to go about living their lives after that point? How does that work, exactly?

After amassing a huge wealth from the proceeds of arms sales and investments in the Israeli companies, the UK and some European countries have finally called for an end to the war on Gaza as the images of starving children and damaged properties and infrastructure became mainstream in the Western media despite.
Now these countries can claim once again their moral standing as the beacon of civilization.

"We urge the parties and the international community to unite in a common effort to bring this terrible conflict to an end, through an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire."
A group of 25 countries, including France and the United Kingdom, have called on Israel to end its 21-month war on Gaza and said the suffering of ordinary Palestinians had "reached new depths".
After you've made all of your best arguments to deaf ears and the extermination of a whole people proceeds unabated, it's not time to give in. After they are dead, we have to push for a tribunal that will indict and punish whole governments, politicians, and soldiers. It's not enough to merely dismantle and punish just Israel. They do what they are encouraged to do, with lavish gifts of money and weaponry. There must be consequences for the nations feeding the genocide.

Just a reminder that the Biden-Harris administration cut all funding to UNRWA - the only relief agency equipped to distribute food and aid effectively throughout Gaza - in 2024 while Israel was blocking aid trucks from getting into Gaza.
The mass starvation is bipartisan.

gaza has reached level 5 starvation which means its irreversible even if food becomes available again. their bodies are gonna be permanently damaged. let that sink in.
Trump and Biden get a pass? Murdering the Palestinian population daily nets no punishment? No wonder I have given up on the whole system.

A reminder: framing homelessness as a problem of mental illness or addiction has been politically manufactured to divert attention from its *actual* causes—skyrocketing rents, poverty wages, gutted social supports—and to justify the removal of homeless people from public space.

Lenin explained in 1917 that incrementalism is a tool used to sedate workers into believing they are making progress towards workers rights but those incremental changes are always going to be crushed by reactionary forces within the state.
There is no more Beit Hanoun. Israel erased an entire ancient Palestinian city — and the world said nothing.
I just saw the drone footage. It's all gone. 100% of it. Not one structure stands. And they filmed it, celebrated it, and posted it themselves. - Shaun King
Israel continues to starve and murder the Palestinians, despite making a show of allowing more aid.

Israel is deliberately starving the entire population of Gaza.
They allowed few trucks feeding less than 2% of the population while starving the entire remaining civilians under the pretext they do not want fighters to be fed.
The practice of ethnic cleansing and starving the population have been approved by President #Trump and his administration as well as by #Germany and the #Netherlands.
Netanyahu called his army which is composed mainly of foreign mercenaries and Israeli settlers: « the most moral army in the world » while thousands of children, babies, elderly and women are being deliberately starved in one of the worst humanitarian crisis in recent history.
The death toll have exceeded 60,000 Palestinians, more than 20,000 of whom are babies and children.
I thought this was interesting enough to place here. I stole it from some page on Facebook.
Chimpanzees: not just tree-hugging hippies, but also ruthless warlords. Jane Goodall discovered that these furry cousins of ours don’t just share our DNA, but also our nastier habits...
In 1974, in Tanzania’s Gombe National Park, a chimpanzee civil war kicked off. Humphrey, the overzealous leader of the Kasakela troop, wasn’t keen on sharing power. When a breakaway faction formed, Humphrey and his goons systematically hunted them down over four years—ambushing lone chimps. Charming.
Goodall was horrified. At the time, scientists insisted war was a uniquely human trait. But nope, chimps do it too. Some even suggest this warlike streak is hardwired into our DNA. And yet, our other ape relatives, the bonobos, spend their time having... diplomatic relations instead.
Despite the violence, Goodall’s research transformed our understanding of chimps, proving they have complex societies just like ours—only with more tree climbing and less TikTok. And as for the Kasakela? They’re still out there, no global ape uprising yet—though if we keep destroying their habitat, they might change their minds.

Republicans campaign as a right-wing party and govern as a right-wing capitalist party.
Whereas Democrats campaign as a left-wing party to get votes but then govern as a right-wing capitalist party.
This deception by the Democrats is the biggest obstacle to progress in the U.S.
