Trump's team reportedly pushes Texas Republicans to rig voting maps ahead of 2026 election
Story by Ja'han Jones
Israel has launched an attack on Iran.
The mistake here is calling them leaders.
CNN polling has indicated that Republicans now hold a clear advantage with voters on economic issues. Economic concerns, especially about inflation and recession, have increasingly shaped public opinion and party preferences. Voters now see only 16% of Democrats as strong leaders.

Israel is not a lone survivor.
It is not David in this story.
It is not the underdog standing defiant in the face of annihilation.
It is the regional superpower: nuclear-armed, Western-backed, diplomatically shielded, militarily unrestrained.
It is the only state in the region with an air force capable of leveling entire neighborhoods in minutes.
The only one whose occupation is called "security," whose war crimes are called "self-defense," whose siege is called "policy."
This is not David against Goliath.
This is Goliath with global sponsors, rebranded, rearmed, and repackaged.
And the stone?
It’s no longer in the shepherd’s sling.
It’s buried under the rubble of homes, schools, hospitals, and refugee camps.
Israel is not the world’s last Jew.
It is not the sum total of Jewish survival.
It is a settler-colonial state forged in the image of the very empires it claims to have escaped.
Backed by the same powers that armed Apartheid South Africa, invaded Iraq, and turned Hiroshima to ash.
It bombs Damascus and brags.
It strikes Iran, then screams for protection.
It colonizes in real time, then cries victim when the world refuses to look away.
This is not about ancient hatred or timeless conflict.
It is about land.
It is about control.
It is about a state built on dispossession, sustained by perpetual war, and fueled by a global pity complex.
But here’s the truth:
The era of unchallenged narrative is over.
The world is watching, not through the eyes of empire, but through the lens of memory.
And memory sees what propaganda cannot hide.
That the oppressed do not need to be perfect to be human.
That occupation is not defense.
That resistance is not terrorism.
And that no state, no matter how sacred its founding myths, has the right to erase an entire people to justify its existence.
So no, Israel is not David.
It’s a fortress with American jets, German submarines, British complicity, and billion-dollar budgets.
It is Goliath on camera, hurling missiles and demanding silence.
But even Goliath, for all his armor, could not rewrite the ending.
And neither will this one.
Some are saying the attack on Iran creates the perfect diversion and now they can commence with finishing off the remaining citizens of Gaza.
After more than 120 years, California's Yurok Tribe has successfully regained control of their ancestral lands 🌲.
The tribe has secured nearly 47,000 acres along the Klamath River, a monumental victory in the fight for land restoration.
This reclaimed land, once devastated by industrial logging, holds deep cultural and environmental value for the tribe.
The tribe plans to restore the land through traditional practices, aiming to protect and revive vital salmon habitats 🐟.
With a $56 million investment backing the effort, this return of land is not only a victory for the Yurok people but also for environmental sustainability.
The tribe’s efforts stand as a powerful example of the resilience of Indigenous communities and the importance of land stewardship for future generations.

The war on Iran isn't really about nukes — if it was they would've kept the nuclear deal in place, which was working as intended. The Gaza holocaust isn't really about Hamas or hostages — if it was they would've just targeted Hamas or negotiated a hostage deal.
Most spot on quote of any modern politician:
ADMIRAL JAMES STOCKDALE: Who am I? Why am I here?

Looking at the footage of the parade and seeing how slack the cadence was. How out of step the troops where. The slouching, the lack of precision and I think these folks were sending a giant FU to Trump - they were exercising malicious compliance, and we are here it

I have a very important statement to make and lesson to teach.
Several Palestinians have asked me to weigh in here because of the reach of my platform.
As you may know, the United States and Israel have now killed over 200 Palestinian men, women, and children as they waited in line for food this month at a new scam they built together called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. It's the single most evil thing happening in Gaza right now.
They killed 38 people THIS MORNING as they waited in line for food. Locals say the only thing they could compare it to is SQUID GAMES - but instead of people risking death to get rich, it's for a bag of food.
Well, EVERY SINGLE CHARITY in Gaza agreed not to work with this genocidal death trap. Muslim charities all agreed. Non-Muslim charities all agreed - including World Central Kitchen, World Food Program, and much more.
Then we discovered ONE CHARITY, an American charity, struck a deal to work with Israel behind the scenes.
Who is it? Rahma Worldwide. Yes, this is a rather well known Muslim charity.
So, behind the scenes I found the number of their CEO, a brother named Shadi Zaza, and confronted him.
The man openly admitted to me that he struck a deal with Zionists behind every one's backs, but said they didn't have his permission to put the labels of Rahma on the aid as they distributed it. As if our problem was labels? No, our problem is that you broke an agreement of every charity in Gaza and are now working with monsters.
Behind the scenes a group of Palestinian leaders pressured him to public denounce the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation as it literally slaughters hundreds of innocent civilians, but still, he refuses.
Lastly, multiple Palestinians IN GAZA have said that this man uses his influence with Zionists to extort people inside of Gaza. How? Throughout the genocide he would force them into deals to give up half of the goods on a truck for his influence or help in getting it in.
And this made people inside of Gaza despise him and despise Rahma.
Not only that, but a highly respected Palestinian doctor based in Michigan, where Rahma is located, said that its CEO, Shadi Zaza, conned him out of a huge sum of money. And the doctor was so furious he was literally ready to kill the CEO of Rahma for this theft.
I am a historian by training. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are in history. Many lessons exist here - the chief among them being the fact that every genocide has collaborators from the inside and outside that make it work.
Throughout history, every evil genocide has had groups like Rahma Worldwide that decide to partner with it. From the Holocaust to Rwanda to now. Even American slavery and Jim Crow relied on collaborators from the inside and outside to pull it off.
Before I made this statement publicly, I pushed privately, as did many others before me, for this organization to publicly denounce the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, but they refused, and instead put out statements that seemed like the IDF themselves wrote them.
It's disgusting and must end.

The USS Nimitz is being sent to the region for Israel to sink it, for US politicians to blame Iran, and then launch direct war on Iran. You NEVER send big targets like aircraft carriers into waters when your adversary has missiles that can easily target an expensive asset.
@edgarblythe,
The USS Carl Vinson is already there.
It's a big aircraft carrier too.
The Nimitz was supposed to replace her, but has been dispatched early.
They will be there together.
It would make more sense for Iran to attack Carl Vinson because it's already there, and is newer than Nimitz which is the oldest carrier in the fleet.
It's scheduled to be decomissioned next year.
@edgarblythe,
I'd be more concerned about sabotage in Bahrain, headquarters of the US fleet and also a Shia majority population who are sympathetic to Iran.
Bahrain is a big expensive asset well within Iranian missile range.
The arrest of Eugene Debs on this day 107 years ago sparked a nationwide movement to secure his release — and forced the government to finally recognize the free speech rights of wartime dissenters.
I fear there may come a 911 style attack allegedly from Iran, but we know who it really will be.

BREAKING: Donald Trump has just publicly called for the evacuation of Tehran - a city bigger than all of New York City.
1. Is he planning on dropping a nuclear bomb? Iran doesn't even have nuclear weapons so what's the purpose.
2. If not, what is he planning such that he would think he could tell a whole city to evacuate?

Scoop: U.S. tells allies it won't join war unless Iran targets Americans
By Barak Ravid
In his first social media post since US President Donald Trump's threats of unconditional surrender, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a warning to Israel on X, saying, "The battle begins."
"Ali returns to Khaybar," the post says, according to a translation by the Iran International news outlet. The statement is a reference to the first imam of Shia Islam and his conquest of the Jewish town of Khaybar in the 7th century, reported The Times of Israel. The post was originally shared in Farsi.
The post includes an image of a man holding a sword entering a castle-like gate, with fiery streaks in the sky overhead.
Minutes later, Khamenei posted another warning to Israel: "We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy.
