satt_f, My "gift" for you. This is a photo copy of a autographed composition by Mozart when he was nine years old and presented by him to the British Museum in 1765. Enjoy. c.i.
c.i. ..
Thanks.
(When I was in a chorus group in high school, one of my roles was mimeographing scores.)
By the way, my new avatar is related with a music symbol in its shape.
Satt fs glad to see you found this. I was going to send you a PM when it came up because I knew you would have lots to contribute.
satt_f, We have a collection of dragons, because our oldest son was born in the year of the dragon.

Dragons are my favorite. My next tattoo is going to be one.
In shape it is similar to the "C clef."
The "creation of a melody, could actually be tapping into the universal memory. Hence, "there's nothing new under the sun." The ability to traverse this memory, via, a non-linear mode, would demonstrate, the non- existense of time, as an entity. It only exsists as a measurement. And of course measurement is not really an existence, only an arbitrary inference.
It's rhythm that matters.
Amen..... Rhythmn; the foundation of motion.
aging..
(I am talking about my parents.)
The awareness of rhythm and the creation of anything requires time which requires memory.
Aging itself does not require memory.
How would one know of aging or anything else without memory?
How would you know what a record was without memory?
This cyclic train of thought means there is misunderstanding. Let me try to clarify my position, then you can yours if I'm missing something.
Without memory nothing can be known. Anytime you postulate something, you are making an assumption based upon experiences or information you've acquired via memory. So the assumption becomes, "Memory is the self-defining foundation of reality."
Memory is realized through chemical changes in the neural system. The changes are intimately connected with "time."
