as long as I can get up when I want the next day, as i work for myself. There just aren't enough hours in the day lol .
I'm sure life was easy 3-4 hundred years ago when all you had to do was work in a field and then sleep on a haystack, now, with all this technology, life is too complicated, which is weird because you would think technology makes things easier
@Charlie20156,
Life was easy?
And I think you mean more like 150+ years ago. People in 1922 had cars and there were planes.
Thanks for this morning's amusement.
@Charlie20156,
If you would like to work in a field all day and crash in a bunkhouse, there are plenty of places to do that all over the US. I hear there is a shortage of migrant workers that normally cover those jobs so you could get it without any problem.
@Charlie20156,
to answer the question sure - that would give you 6 hours a night to sleep -
I had a teacher in high school that would never sleep more than 4 hours a night and she was a brilliant person. If you can sustain on 6 hours a night then yeah I don't see an issue. Everyone's need for sleep is different - the average person needs 7 - 9 but many do not need as much.
About the question: I have no idea how much sleep you actually need. But I too know somebody who sleeps only 4 hours, and it's also a genius, or near.
Six hours sleep is pretty normal.
Maybe. Are you rested? Better to talk to your Physician
If you do this every day it badly affects your health. 18 hours of no sleep a day can lead to many health problems such as high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, headaches, etc.
The guy I'm talking about is Gregory Charles. He's not my friend, but he is well know in Québec province. Do you know him also?
@Charlie20156,
Its really bad in the long run.
@Charlie20156,
Do you mean 18 hours in one stretch? Maybe not.
If you do some form of
polyphasic sleep, then sure, no problem.
