I just started using Forteo and travel alot on trips exceeding 3 hours, including over seas trips. I noted that some people in the same situtation have tried a wide mouth thermos and suggest that will keep the pen a the correct temperature for 24 hours. Has anyone successfully done this or found any other solution for lengthly travel.
Also, how do you check the temperature range? I can't find a thermometer that will fit in the pack or a thermos. Any ideas would be helpful.

We took a trip from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Sicily this Spring and had to transport FORTEO. We purchased a soft-side six-pak cooler (California Innovations) from Wal-Mart for $7 Using three gallons-size freezer Ziplock bags, we put ice cubes in two bags and the Forteo travel bag in the third to keep it dry. Cool your FORTEO bag in the refrig. before loading into the cooler to reduce condensation inside the Ziplock bag. Tack a small refrigerator thermometer on the side of the travel bag so you can check the temperature. Put the two bags of ice in the bottom of the cooler and the FORTEO on top with the thermometer on the top side. If the temperature gets too high put the FORTEO bag between the ice bags but don't leave it between the ice bags for more than a couple hours. Our ice lasted 24 hours. You can refresh your ice at any refreshment stand (We did in Rome).javascript:emoticon('
