Nice big buckets of rain coming down.

Hopefully this will mean a break in the heat and humidity, and my hair will be allowed to get closer to my head again

sumac, what an interesting looking spider!

Danon, a friend who was stationed in Texas <air force> said he'd never seen spiders so huge!

I have no idea what the little critter called, but found one sitting on a leaf of one of the varigated house plants. The spider a light green coloring.

Not to worry ehBeth. Love the way that rain takes the wrinkles out of the clothes on the line.

Can't remember whether I clicked today or not. Better go check.

Teeny, isn't the flower lovely though? Not sure what type of spider the critter is <sittin' on the petal>, so decided to do a bit more research.

I'm trying to track down an online link to a PBS segment last night indicating that the present admin is up to its usual tricks through the Bureau of Land Management in favoring cattle ranchers over soil ecology and land conservation. Dangerous changes proposed, and the wisdom of their own scientists (now retired) was deleted from the report.

Morning all,

NOW site marked for future reference - thanks Stradee.

Oh, did you hear the Prez signed an Energy Bill recently giving money and other incentives to oil companies to dig for more oil? That should impact our environment.

sumac,
Be watchful and prepare for the latest Tropical Storm in the Atlantic heading your way. It could easily become a hurry-cane.

Danon, Commander Eileen Collins of Discovery specifically discussed atmospheric and land damage she and the flight crew witnessed when observing the earth from the space shuttle - inflight and after the shuttle landed.

The factory owned media printed a few paragraphs of their comments - not coincidently at the same time the prez was lining the pockets of the
arcaic energy companies.
