That said, I'll think you'll find that a lot of us on this thread agree with you. When you admonish us to "get some perspective people" some of are left scratching our heads.
Also, despite his name and color, I believe (I could be wrong) that Kevin Carter is African. I don't think this was an unfamiliar situation for him. I think it was doubly horrorifying and triply exhausting for him to see what was happening in his country. Which makes his photo all the more poingent to me.
Did anyone see the photos from Niger from today's newspaper?
