Avai of Sauerkraut

Our local Stop and Shop sells bags of the stuff. Have you asked at the supermarket?

I live in the Pa Dutch country here there are plenty of farm markts where the proprietors have sauerkraut mae as a custom product like wine or artisan breads or cheeses.
I recall a brand "KISSLING" that used to sell it by bags and can in th supermarkts.

I just looked. Kissling Sauerkraut in the bag is availabl through Walmart's on-line sales. (Maybe a local Walmart that has a supermarket attached has it available in the deli /dairy or veggie depts

Are you that clueless? Almost every major grocery store in NYC sells sauerkraut.

They sell it in plastic bags in the deli fridge (mostly where they keep the damn hot dogs).

It's less than $5 for a pound. Cheaper if you get the lesser brands.
