A2K Fantasy Premier League 2021-22

I'm spending the season dealing with the incompetence of:
* the HR department of the company that laid me off
* a medical insurance company
* an auto insurance company
* the federal government

Believe it or not, the feds have been the least trouble

McG, I hope you can get NFL picks in for this week.
There are two games tomorrow.

Once again, I make a change and forget to hit the "SAVE TEAM" button.
I meant to captain Antonio, who has two games this week.
Instead, I leave the armband on Dennis, who only plays half the game.
So, of course, Antonio scores a goal.
Argh.

Watford playing at home to useless Norwich. Gambled on Dennis as captain. Of course Norwich are 2-0 up with 10 minutes left and Dennis gets himself sent off.

Nothing lifts my spirits like seeing my captain go negative. Ouch.

Premiership returns tomorrow night after a two week break. Suffering withdrawal symptoms.

Seems more like a month.

I feel the need to make astonishing bad decisions that don't involve my
exercising outdoors.

The FA Cup was far more entertaining than the premiership. Nottingham Forest, Boreham Wood!

I have Ronaldo as my Captain tonight and where is he .. sitting on his sunburnt arse on the bench.
He was pictured in one of the rags this week enjoying the sunshine in one of these fabulous places where all the fabulous people go.

No not Southampton Izzy.

Don't have ITV unfortunately so couldn't even watch Liverpool on Sunday. Boreham Wood is a great story and hope they do a number on Everton in the 5th round.

Played 2nd wildcard this weekend with only four games being played and practically none of my 'regular' squad involved. So far, one of my Wolves players forced off with an injury after less than twenty minutes while the 2nd has just been sent off. So it's going well

This should be an interesting week.

Right now I am leading the league in points for the week with a whopping TWO!

We're in the middle of Game Week 30.

So after 29 weeks in the Classic league the man from the Kingdom (TwowHimToTheFloaw) is in 1st place with the man from the Pale (The Unforgiven) 70pts behind in 2nd place.
The men (Midnight Riders & 4th team for tea) from across the water are in 3rd and 4th spot and have a bit of catching up to do, to do Ron Ron to do.


In the Head to Head league the Midnight Riders (48pts) hold top spot with a 3pt lead on the TwowHimToTheFloaw (45pts).
The Unforgiven (39pts) are in 3rd spot with 4th team for tea (36pts) bringing up the rear.

As for the draft.... I still haven't figured that out yet.

Alas, lmur isn't playing. I'm looking for someone to take his slot.

There's an auto-draft option that kicks in if you don't log on to the live draft.

With FA Cup semi finals this coming weekend, the FFL fixture list is somewhat askew with Wolves, Villa and Leeds not playing at all and others playing twice (I counted six - Man Ure, Brighton, Burnley, Southampton, Arsenal & Leicester but very much a back-of the-envelope job so may be inaccurate).

"Somewhat askew" pretty much describes my life right now.
