I would translate it:

for the win:
"Ad victoria"

And "needed to win"
Ad victoria necessarius

But there are many way to translate sentences like this. Old romans lived in an ancient and dangerous world and they did fight a lot so there are a lot of latin words for fighting and win. :wink:

I didn't read post carefully, and I thought you wanted "victory is needed" to be written... I know, I know...

As Raphillon said there are many ways to translate it, but if I might suggest something, I think it would be good to change "Ad victoria" to "ad victoriam", because "ad" is used with accusative.

Trifidus is right. Ad is used with accusative, of course. My mistake here.
