A third of all multi-vitamin supplies are inadequently labeled with warning they they contain Vitamin A which can damage cells in foetuses leading to Spina bifida and hdrocepalus as well as urinary tract infections.

Aye, and it's alarming how many dont know about appropriate nutrition for expectant mothers ( ie lack of folate causing spinal bifida and alcohol binges causing FAS , for instance).

Vitamin A also causes a variety of other birth defects, including cleft lip and palate.
