"The trail that he blazed is still there"
"It's a name that a shame never has been connected with"
"There's a traffic jam in Harlem"
"His fast gun for hire heeds the calling wind"
Brandon, I'm assuming that you want us to name the title of the song from whence those lines came, right?
Guessing:
1. Daniel Boone
2. Harrigan
3. ?
4. Paladin
The only one wrong is #1. It was a fairly high profile show when it was on, although, I suppose, only for people who liked that kind of thing.
Was it Davy Crockett then? gorsh, Brandon. I usually have total recall about this stuff, but only when it has to do with music alone.

I had to look this one up...I can't believe I can actually remember some of the words to the theme song.

And you found????
I didn't want to give the answer away...just in case someone was still trying to guess it.

Go ahead. You're someone.
Well, for goodness sake. This someone would never have gotten that. <smile>
Anyone remember the "Bat Masterson" music? It was pretty. It went:
Quote:Back when the West was very young
There lived a man named Masterson
He wore a cane and derby hat
They called him Bat, Bat Masterson.
A man of steel the stories say
But women's eyes all glanced his way
A gambler's game he always won
They called him Bat, Bat Masterson.
The trail that he blazed is still there
No one has come since to replace his name
And those with too ready a trigger forgot to figure
On his fighting fame.
So in the legends of the West
One name stands out from all the rest
The man who had the fastest gun
They called him Bat, Bat Masterson.
Just vaguely, Brandon. Gene Barry? Now here's one for you and colorbook:
Luck is his companion, gambling is his game.

Something, something, something, Maverick is the name.
Who is the tall dark stranger there...right on, Brandon.
If I may interrupt...
Bret (and bro Bart)
Ah, I forgot about the brother, bermbits.
James Garner is still on the tube, buddy.
And who was Richard Long? A cousin? I can't remember...
