@BillW,
I suspect he will be ratting out eveyone he knows who may have ever been involved in a sleazy scheme in order to minimize any penalty he may face. Doesn't strike me as a stand-up guy.

@BillW,
How many Republicans are potential witnesses; who knows what? He "supposedly" passed around pictures to various members and talked about "dates" he had gone on. He took a girl to a dinner engagement with Tucker Carlson - and, why did Tucker seem so upset with being brought into a "situation"? Who, when and where did he provide girls to for various entertainment activities?

It is interesting and some of these other peoples could be Dems, Reps, businessmen or even preachers - want to guess who?

@BillW,
Is spontaneous combustion a possibility? I just might be fine with that.

It looked like his end goal was a talking head position. That seemed to be why he was willing to resign from Congress to run Trump's impeachment defense. Not sure that's on the table anymore and not sure he is really interested in being a Congressman.

@engineer,
Gaetz made a grave error in judgement trying to involve Tucker Carlson on Tucker's own stupid show. He sounded desperate, trying to coax Tucker into admitting 'something' which wasn't really clear but had a tint of scandal to it.

I've disliked Tucker for years ever since he used to wear a bowtie on 'Cross Fire' and make smarmy remarks to the guests and the other hosts.....what a lightweight.

Gaetz will be fine all he has todo is make a show of an apology then he’ll be able to work for some evangelical and abuse even younger children.

As long as you shout loud about Jesus you can rape as many children as you want.

Gaetz released a "Women of U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz’s office" letter that defended Gaetz but none of the women actually put their names to it.

Until Gaetz either resigns or is indicted, I will proceed under the assumption that he’s just another sleazy corrupt republican who got away without any accountability.

There is currently talk about people other than Greensburg and Gaetz
involved in these crimes!
Quote:
According to an investigation by The Daily Beast, Gaetz used Venmo—the app that decided to turn financial transactions into public social media content—to pay his friend, accused sex trafficker Joel Greenberg, two payments totaling $900 late one night in May of 2018. The next morning, over a few minutes, Greenburg sent three young women various sums of money totaling $900.

Venmo transactions have a memo line to write what the payments are for. In the first payment, Gaetz wrote “test.” In the second, he wrote, “hit up” and the nickname for one of the young women, who had only turned 18 six months earlier.

The three payments Greenberg made to the young women had memo lines reading “Tuition,” “School,” and “School.”
