Winston Churchill's mother was American. I believe that is the information you are looking for, though I could be mistaken as most of your post is hard to understand.

Winston Churchill's mother was, indeed, American and his father was English.

Yes, Winston Churchill was a semi Yank, or a Ya as we call it.

I would imagine that your report will make interesting reading.

Good luck.

As I recall, there is a statue of Mr. Churchill at the UK embassy in Washington. It straddles the border between the USA and the embassy property, symbolizing his part-American ancestry.

Mr. Churchill was also granted United States citizenship by President Kennedy in 1963, and an event was held in a special session of Congress to so honor him.

He also spent a good deal of time dueling verbally with Lady Astor, who was an American, as well as a member of Parliament.

Lady Astor: "Wintson, if i were your wife, i'd put poison in your coffee."

Winston: "Nancy, if i were your husband, i'd drink it."

Ah, yes:

"I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly."

Rather similar to a certain WC Fields quote...
