It's what America does best: advanced scientific research. From start to finish this mission took four years: plan, build, shoot, fly and hit the target.
It's the equivalent of rolling a bee-bee down a roof, bouncing it off a hatchway and hitting your sister in the behind, a feat I accomplished in 1964, but I failed to recognize the obvious intergalactic implications.
They have done something really stunning.
Joe( Mom! Something bit me!)
I wish they'd stick with this kind of thing instead of Bush's 'put a man on Mars' plans.
What an amazing feat, and how exciting to accomplish this on July 4th! I hope it serves as inspiration to some of our best and brightest youth out there to pursue careers in space technology. I truly believe wonderful secrets await us, not to mention the periferal discoveries that always go along with such research, that enrich our lives here on terra firma. Bravo! Well done!
There it is! Thanks Reyn.
ahh
still, i can't seem to get this image of chipmonks throwing nuts in front of a mack truck outta my head
that's probably why its in my head
I think I'm glad it's there and not here in my head.
perhaps... it is after all better than a shunt and well, its kinda cute and all and keeps me pleasantly occupied well into the wee hours
<a shunt...hmm... looking for dictionary>
Sounds cute, but I think it'd confuse me if it were running and tossing in my mind.
Good night doggie, it's be fun catching you live.... but, I'm falling asleep at the switch.
