I received an Email with what I presume to be an email spoofed to look like mine, since I checked the log-ins log of my account and none came from the IP the email was sent from. The mail claimed it had installed malware onto my device which recorded me while watching adult contet on the web and well, you know... The only devices I access that account with is my Laptop, where I have never watched such content on and my phone, where I did. It mentioned cam sites, which I did visit, so I'm a little worried. I deleted the email and sent a mail to the website I'm registered on with another email I have and gave them the IP the mail came from.
Still, I'm worried that this might actually be real, which seems more and more unlikely as I write all of this out, but I could still use some peace of mind. Any advice is appreaciated. I already ran a full virus scan on all the devices and found nothing.
@Waterfall987928,
Even if it was real, it takes a lot of effort to go through with extortion and they are doing this to lots of people. It's not time efficient of them to go after everyone who ignores their message. Even if they went through all the trouble of outing you, so what? You watch Internet porn? Wow, you and millions of other people. Just ignore it.
I get that same email. They are taking a shot in the dark. Delete and forget it.

Same here an my reaction was to laugh.
@BillRM,
Now I'm feeling left out. Maybe Google's spam filter catches it.
