HELP!!!
I've had a FB account for 10+ years. Always the same email. This morning I got an email saying someone was trying to log in. I got a code generator via text. At first I didn't respond to either one as I thought it was another scam. But later when I tried to log in, I was logged out and it wouldn't take my password. When I go to change it, it says it doesn't recognize my email. If I do by phone number it brings up my daughter's account. I tried the code generator and it doesn't recognize that either. My friend tried finding me and there is nothing there. What happened? Can I get my FB account back? Is there a FB person to even chat or talk to?

If it doesn't recognize your phone number or email, it's possible that your account has been hacked and is no longer active. In that case, you'll need to create a new account and report the previous one as stolen.
