Are you actually arguing that God is more of an uncaring asshole than Hillary?

God (according to you) just killed 23,000 people with a viral attack. That's 6 times the number of people killed on 9/11

No, I did not but it is scary that you did.

That is none of your business, but I did achieve financial security and my personal American dream of family and friends by working hard and obeying the laws. This country made that possible, not bureaucrats with attitude.

@coldjoint,
and Obama saved your financial ass in the Bush Depression. The return of the stock market was a miracle and the GDP growth was amazing.
Trump mrely rode the wave and claimed it as his own. Imagine if he had to start from where Bush;s leadership got us.

Obama did not save me. I lost my job in the financial crisis which was not Bush's fault. You are perpetuating a lie.

@McGentrix,
Im trying to follow th antibody harvesting and testing studies going on all around the earth. Theyre treating this like Polio now and (IMHO) what weve been omitting in the last 20 years or so is that we have ways of imparting the bodies immuno- defenses by taking antibodies from those whove recovered and basing vaccine studies on the simplest of means..

Wheres Drs Hannity and Limbaugh on all this??

@farmerman,
I remember standing in line outside the county health department waiting for the sugar cube with vaccine. I remember the fear the parents radiated during that time and those grim pictures of small children in Iron Lungs......
People didn't dither around about quarantining or isolating the patient, they took the steps they needed to protect themselves and others.

I have no idea if people were protesting the limitations on their liberty, maybe a few did.....Jonah Salk was revered back then

COVID-19 Treatment Update: Remdesivir, Hydroxychloroquine, Leronlimab, Ivermectin, and More

I'll spare you quoting the articles, please go to source.

however....

Quote:
Ivermectin

Researchers at Monash University have performed lab tests that indicate Ivermectinan, an anti-parasitic drug already approved by the FDA and available around the world, kills COVID-19 within 48 hours. During tests, a single dose of the drug stopped the SARS-CoV-2 virus from growing in cell culture.

Monash’s Kylie Wagstaff, who led the study, said the mechanism by which Ivermectin works on the virus is not known; however, it is likely, based on its action in other viruses like dengue, HIV and Zika, that it works to stop the virus “dampening down” the host cells’ ability to clear it.

Wagstaff said the next step is to determine the correct human dosage to ensure the doses shown to effectively treat the virus in vitro are safe for humans, as well.

“The use of Ivermectin to combat COVID-19 would depend on the results of further pre-clinical testing and ultimately clinical trials, with funding urgently required to keep progressing the work,” Wagstaff said.

so something has something going on.

I do not think Democrats want any medical progress. It is more than clear they will use every death against Trump. Ghouls.

@McGentrix,
I responded to the IVOMEC announcement a few pags back. Its interesting .I have to admit that I dont know what its doing , to me its a worm medicine we use a lot for our sheep. Its very powerful and kills worms and ecto -parasites on animals . Ill find out since its open for research.
Chloroquine , however, acted simply, As a polar compound its minus side is a peroxide. so dessication is a probable method and the other side can target cells including haem AND covid.

Im mostly interested in the antibody studies since they have a huge histoy of success and can be the vaccine that brings up the herd immunity among us.

Interesting reading , I always wonder what causes the bell to go off in trying these compounds

VA Study Shows No Benefit To Treating Coronavirus With Chloroquine

The malaria drug once touted by President Donald Trump as a “game-changing” treatment for COVID-19 when taken along with
azithromycin exhibited no benefit in actually treating the disease when compared to a control group, according to a study of
VA patients. Researchers posted the study to medRxiv, a pre-print server for health sciences that distributes unpublished clinical
research manuscripts. According to Politico, the study has also been submitted to the New England Journal of Medicine, but has
yet to receive peer review.

A French study says differently. There is no real verdict in yet, and the MSM should acknowledge that.

It looks like this is over.

There was a valid point that we had to do the scientific research. Any of us who were making that argument now have to accept the scientific research.

Now the research shows no benefit. That settles it. I am sure that had the research shown a benefit, everyone would have been happy.

@Region Philbis,
The "French study" is what started the entire chloroquine hoo haw. It was found to be somewhat flawed before any of the studies began but we did agree that the study had to be done. There are prepub studies that give scientists a chance to review the work under consideration and the big diversion could have been done in turn, not on a fastest track. Now the antibody harvest studies can move into a line (pre pub reports have found promise from serum antibody treatment on diseased mice). These were pre pubbed from China AND Korea (remember when UK andUS used to be the world s leaders in medical research??

So, according to you, Donald Trump, for saying that the early results for hydroxychloroquine looked promising, is largely responsible for the death of the moron who drank pool cleaner.

Hypothetically, suppose some university eventually says that they have test results that prove that hydroxychloroquine is useful in fighting the coronavirus and some morons drink pool cleaner. Will the university then be largely responsible for their deaths? Surely if saying that the drug looks promising is encouraging, then saying that tests prove it works will be even more encouraging.

Trump never told anyone to drink the wrong substance or to be his own doctor.

Here is what I say: We better find some effective treatments soon, because we will not continue to keep the nation shut down to evade this bug.....the depression will not allow for this.

Our medical system is expensive crap, and we have allowed the Chinese who dont like us to have both of their hands around our expensive crap medical system so well that they can strangle it inside of two weeks if they want to....but....

Sink or Swim time is coming fast.

A lot of people might die soon.

Our elites failed us.

They fucked us.

ACtually those "early reports"were not only questionable, they were a bit fraudulent. And for the president to jump on some kind of stupid bandwagon is reprehensible. He is offering advice ( more or less) to those not able to understand how "safety " has to be up there with "efficacy" ever since the Thalidomide years.
Trump used words like "This could be a game changer",or Its "very exciting news".
Yeh, hes gotta bear some heavy responsibility. He should have just kept his big fat mouth shut. Of course, when has he ever done that in 3.3 years. besides his more criminal talents,Hes an ego maniac and you have faith in him yet?
