p' = p + *p

notice: * stands for delta, since I can't type it here.

What do you read " ' "? I listen to a material in which it is pronounced something like /plan/ while I think it should be apostrophe. So I'm confused.

Δ is written by typing (with no spaces in between the characters):

& #916;

Your question is how does one vocalize the apostrophe in the equation
p' = p + Δp? The apostrophe is used as the symbol for prime, so the answer would be "p primed".
