Well -- so much for the conservatives among us being champions of free speech.

To think -- for all their supposed patriotism, if they were living in Iraq, they'd be supporting Saddam.

Who says that the policing of the protests are stretching the police force to it's limits?

As far as I know you grab some cardboard out of the recycling and a marker from the drawer. Someone sends out an email or a paper prints a story about a protest and then all are there. What's the funding for?

At the moment the Oz media who are gleefully reporting Australian SAS troops have killed Iraqi soldiers, that our ships have fired the first shots in anger since Korea, but they can't yet find out whether our Air Force has actually dropped any bombs or fired any missiles.

Good question. Really for me, the protesters make me want to throw up. Cops are taken off there responsibilities during WAR TIME trying to control civil disobedience, this WEAKENS our public safety. I also wonder what parties are behind the funding of these protests.
Its just my two cents. But I live in a state capital, and would rather see the police protecting landmarks, airports etc.....not stretching their resources to the limit.

And all those troops in faraway lands? Dont they weaken the Home security? And killing innocents and boosting Anti-Amerikanism in the entire world, even with the ones that once loved the US. that WEAKENS public safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
