English to Latin translation of motto

Hi,

I need help translating the following phrase: “Do good with pen or sword”.

By “good” i mean something like “the right thing to do”. Thephrase has to be “catchy”, easily spoken, as it is a motto.

I had a previous translation as: Fac proba per stilum aut gladium.

I am not sure it is totally accurate.
