They're not the same at all.

Only one is a military alliance.

Norway is in NATO but not in the EU.

I'm not making an argument that you have made an error, so it really doesn't matter if I cannot produce evidence of such an error.

It's not fair, there used to be just NATO and the Warsaw Pact. Now with the pact disbanded and other organisations like the Council of Europe and the EU being formed means there's more than two, which is clearly was too much for some to comprehend.
